Glimpses

Pulling Nana's taffy. This was just Rylee's thing, permission to rub butter all over her hands. 'Really, mom?'

Tree decorating and undecorating. It has been redone many times by these two elves.

'Does temperature affect Friction?' Ask the scientist, Lauren. She brought home a first place ribbon for her friction testing. The results: only metal goes faster when frozen. Foam, wood and tile all go faster when heated:) Who knew!

Catching first snow! 'Can we go sledding yet?'

Imagine that, first place!!! I wish my kids had you here to help them with their science projects. I wish my students had you, sometimes they know more than I do!!! Smart little buggers! How did the taffy turn out?

Thanks for the taffy! I know it will be great when it gets here, I am excited. It was yummy last year, I hide it so Carl can't find and eat it all - then I eat it all! Not fair!!! The tree is lovely, and the friction test outstanding. Congatulations Lauren.

We just had our first snow on Saturday! Wish we had cousin L and R close by to throw snowballs with!
